870 with LB 6s Jellyhead 660

3" shells out of a 28" barrel using the older style JH choke. Think I found a winner with 197 hits at a lasered 40 yards.

Very nice, that's a killer.  What's it look like at 20 yds?  I went with a .665 on same setup and got like 180 hits at 40 and fairly open at 20.

Didn't shoot at 20 yet but need to. Will eventually put sights on it and will shoot up close then. I imagine it's very tight

I shoot an 1187 with a 28" barrel, 3" #6 longbeards through a .660 primos  tightwad choke and it averages 215 in 3 shots. It likes a clean barrel .

870, stock 28" barrel, old jellyhead 660, longbeard #6s 3". I shot it several times. best I got was 243 worst was low 230s...but it made it in the 240s twice. 197 aint bad...its better than what ive seen on some others.
