I have filmed hunts now for about 7 years with all sorts of different cameras. The sky is the limit and it's all in how much u wanna spend. I started with a small Sony handicam and they are absolutely perfect for your every day Joe blow hunter just looking to go get some good quality footage for his own personal use! Very affordable and get the job done.

Since that camera I have filmed with a canon Xh-a1 that I filmed a lot of hunts with the last two years. Absolutely love it, does a great job! I have since upgraded and film now with a canon t3i dslr and a new canon xa30. Love them both!

Another camera that's very good and affordable is a canon g20 or g30. Hope this has helped some
