Scratch box pouches

I've been looking around for a good pouch to carry a scratcher and a couple strikers in my vest.  Haven't had any luck finding what I wanted so I took a shot at making my own.  Black neoprene and a needle and some thread.  They turned out pretty good, at least I'm happy with them.  Getting acquainted with scratch boxes has sure helped pass some time this winter!  Maybe next winter I'll have to take a shot at yelpers

I had some made for me by flintlockgirl on here. Nice heavy condura with draw string in camo patterns.

Mike at Spring Creek also I think has used an old cell phone case.  Good ideas.  Yours looks good.

That will work....I just used old green/black/brown socks, cut off the top/calf section and they worked great. Really didn't even need to tie off the top, but a rubber band worked fine there too.

The neoprene you used is a great option. Before I had mine made up I found some draw string sun glass pouches on ebay that I was going to use. I wanted something just to keep the scratcher and striker together and not just stuffing the call in my vest.

Yep that's what I was trying to accomplish too.  The neoprene has a good layer of padding and holds the strikers and scratcher securely together, plus it's black, if it was camo like yours I'd have to make a few extras for when I lose the original at my first setup  .

you can take a plastic travel soap bar container and put your box in it then cun some padding and put in it and it makes a great one for smaller scratch boxes.richard shivley at super yelper also sells some already made for a few bucks.they fit the super yelper and a little bit bigger.plus they are water proof,those you made look great though,plus its always more rewarding when you just go ahead and do something yourself,good job on those.

I have a badlands rangefinder pouch not in use, it can be put on a waist belt or clipped to any 1" webbing.  It closes securely with magents and has a zippered pouch  inside. It should hold two scratch boxes and some chalk well so that's my plan.
