Talked to Mike on the phone the other day and he sent me this.  Beautiful call and a super nice guy.  Very nice addition to my scratcher collection.   :you_rock:

I have one of Mike's scratch boxes and I like it.  We actually made it together in his shop.  It was a lot of fun.  Great call to have in your vest too!   We stopped and had dinner (Wings and a beer) then we went to his shop and put this scratch box together and had fun with the inscription on the back of the call :)

I picked up a scratch box and a short box from Mike while in Nashville. Both are flat out killers. My buddy bought the long box I was running that was Mike's last one at the show before I could get my money out to buy it. LOL I sat and talked to Mike for a good while and not only is he a champion callmaker but a real gentleman.

I agree Rickey about Mike. He is a great friend that also happens to be a great Callmaker!

Rickey You are dead on! Mike is a great friend and mentor, and one of the finest callmakers out there!

I've got something similar. I believe it's called a Lost John. Guy in Morgantown, WV made them. The striker was a piece of chalk. All my grandfather ever used when I got to hunt with him. I've got his old one that he gave me when he replaced it. Sounds good if you know how to run it. Took me a while to get the hang of it though. Not your typical scratcher.

Both are great gentlemen.  Mike Lapp and John Sisler.  Proud to call them both friends.
