Broadhead for a excalibur micro 335
« on: January 17, 2016, 08:27:34 PM »
Anyone have a suggestion on what brand and size broadhead to use with the micro 335? I just bought the crossbow a few weeks ago and getting ready to site it in.

If you're looking for a scary accurate combo....I got the answers!.

I'm shooting a 15.5" zombie slayer with 92 grain brass insert....tipped with a jak hammer 125.....getting about 1" groups out to 45.

Of course a good Flemish twist string will help with your consistancy.

I have a guy that can set you up if you're interested.

JLH, so you are shooting 15.5 instead of 16.5?

Correct....that way the broadhead stays inside the stirrup....

Easier to hang on a hook in the tree and doesn't catch on stuff .
