Well I messed with couple different pot designs and the first one is what iam going to stick with it sounded more turkey then the others. Tried few in 3 1/4 in and just didn't work out for sound I like may try later
3in brass - glass left flamed osage ,,,bocote ,,,cocobolo

Very nice! I notice in other posts, you use rattle can spar. That's been my favorite finish so far, too. Does it work well with coco? Or is your initial coat of sealer necessary on oily wood? I haven't used sanding sealer or oily wood yet, but plan to do both in time.
