Well boys and girls, NH's season starts tomorrow! I can get out for only a quick hunt in the am before trekking with my son to Maine for baseball.
However, I will be able to hunt till noon on Monday, Wed, and Friday, along with both days of next weekend.
Maybe I will get lucky, and pull one to the gun at first light tomorrow.
Lord knows I will give it my best! :icon_thumright:

Been a tough season thus far. Have only seen jakes, and not much gobbling.
Been hard for me to get out, but me and H have been hunting as hard as we can with the time we got.
On a side note, called in a bobcat Sunday morning! He came to within 15 feet of us! Good stuff!

That's pretty awesome.. Reminds me of what happened to Justin's grandpa. He was in the woods up against a tree near the creek (justin was also hunting that land that day just in a different spot) Wayne heard something wading the water as he set there calling., a short while later something smacked him in the mouth.. He thought it was justin and he felt his mouth and noticed some blood.. A few minutes later he spotted the bobcat who had snuck up on what it thought was a turkey reached around the tree grabbed Wayne's face realized it wasn't a turkey and took off! The details may not be exact.. I'm sure justin will prolly be along to correct something but still.. I think that's a pretty wild story.. So I wanted to share it! ;)
