Anyone have any experience with this call? I was going to get a synthetic Hootin stick but this looks like a cheaper wooden alternative and sounds decent in the video.

No offense to anyone or any other calls out there but the hootin stick just can't be beat.  I would add it to your arsenal just to be safe.  And I would daresay it would probably become more collectible one day. James just kills em at the calling contests.  And he's a super nice guy that deserves the recognition he has attained.  Now go online and order that hootin stick!

Good for you. Now when you get both we would love to hear what else you got and what you think. Keep us posted.  I have been "caught looking" at other owl calls but I just can't see how anything could compare.  I really prefer the reeded hooters so it may be personal preference.
