Taking pics when by yourself

I know its difficult but do your best. I have had to do it before as well. I am going to rig up a hanger so  can back up and get the pic of the bird on the scale. anyone that has any ideals please post them here.

This works pretty well for me.  Can twist the legs around a small tree to get a pic from "eye level".
