I have a late 80's bps 10 gauge with a 26" barrel wood stock. I'm wanting to put a scope on it and curious to what people recommend for which scope rail to put on it. I already found someone to drill and tap the receiver for me. Any suggestions is appreciated.  I'm putting a leupold shotgun scope

I bought browning base so it has the indenting to slide up on vent rib where it comes down on the receiver.

Do you by chance have a link to that?

My other thought would be a picanity rail of some sort

Midwest Gun Works usually carries the factory bases, along with spare parts, stocks and barrels. If your gun is not drilled and tapped you mite try and find a b-square saddle mount. They work pretty good, I have one on my 10 and it holds zero perfectly . Was going to sell mine and drill and tap for ff3 but decided not to for now.
