I haven't been to listen yet mostly because of the cold weather. When everyone starts going out to listen let us know how it goes also what part of the state your in. The youth season is just around the corner now.

Mine are gobbling good. But these loggers on a neighboring property are making it hard. They are suppose to be cutting until mid summer on it.

Birds gobbled really good on Sunday and Monday mornings. They are really henned up bad and none of the two yr olds are very vocal. Most of the big dominant birds have them lock jawed. Heard three this morning after the rain but they all gobbled only a handful of times

I heard about 40 gobbles between 6:15-6:45, but they was across property line this morning.  I have been doing this for a while but only killed 1 turkey.  I think I need to just go with a guide service.  Any ideas?

Just keep going the hens are breaking away from the gobblers right now around here. You never know when you go one morning and he gobbles on yours. But he might only be on yours for 1 day you never know. I have followed birds all the way across a big lease I'm on witch is about 2 miles across it. It didn't take but around 5 morning and he was across the property line on the other side. I killed him eventually about 1/2 mile from the lease line  behind my brothers house.

Only gobbles I've heard past 3 days have been after 830 here in Chilton county. Killed one this morning that started at 830. Finally pulled trigger at 1230.
