After seeing how the pellets in that 40 yard pattern are grouped together in spots. I believe I'd back off to a .665 or .670 choke with that load to get a more evenly spaced pattern.
The larger the constriction size, the more open the choke is. But you're talking about thousandths of an inch. Normally when your pellets "wad up" like yours did on that target the choke is a little too tight and its "blowing" your pattern.

That's a nice pattern but that 10 yard pattern is why I'm not shooting them this year. Killed three birds with them last year but two of the three were 20 yards and had to follow up with running shots. No room for error with those up close.
