How I run a scratch box.
« on: February 19, 2015, 10:30:45 PM »
With a lot of interest in scratchers lately I made a couple clips of how I run scratchers. First, hope it sheds a little light on these calls and might answer a question or two and generate more that I will try to answer and get some feed back from others that run them. Second, run several so you can hear different ones of different woods from different call makers. This is not the way just my way. If you hear something you like here and would like a better clip, let me know. Just tried to get several up close to see how I control the calls.

You do run them well my friend.  Very good videos.

Great job!! But like I have said before, I have not seen any turkey call you cannot run. You need to hire out to some of the callmakers and demo their products and do videos on how to play them. I bet their sales would increase.

noisy box call that seems to sound like a flock of juvenile hens pecking their way through a wheat field
