SBE II barrel polish??????

do you polish a sbe ii or is it chrome lined?

Don't polish, but do clean I think.

I used Butch's Bore Shine last night on my SBE II, and was shocked how dirty it really was  :o

You're right on the money. Since Benelli shotguns have chrome-lined barrels, they often look clean when they're not. A good "deep cleaning" really helps, regardless of the product or procedure used.

What about an old H&K SBE are they chrome linned?

Yes, the older H&K imported Benellis were also chrome lined.
