I normally turn my pedestal as part of the call. I have a need to install a four piece pedestal.
I also would like to off set the pedestal slightly. By that, I mean the pedestal would not
be centered.  Has anyone done this and what were the results sound wise?
Thanks for your time and consideration.

Would the sound board be centered in the pot even though the pedestal is offset?

Yes the soundboard would be centered. The other option is to make
the pedestal not completely a circle. Leave one of the pedestal
segments out. Any comments?

Thanks

Necessity is the mother of invention. Give it a whirl. If it don't work try something else. Just may be the winning ticket.
