So I wanted to post this back up, especially since there seems to be a little more interest.  I choose the Mueller b/c it was $100 cheaper, camo, and has 4 reticles.  It seemed well built, solid.  Camo coating is great looking and seems well applied.  Reticles are crisp and clear.  It has 2 sensors on the front and an automatic brightness setting and 10 other settings.  FOV is awesome. Reticle pics are at 40 yds and the orange sticker is a 3" sticker. Comes with an extra battery.

Differences that I know of without ever laying my eyes or hands on a FF II.
#1.  $100 cheaper
#2.  Camoflauge
#3.  4 selectable reticles for Mueller, only 1 for the FF II
#4.  FF II is smaller
#5.  Have to take unit off to change battery with FF II, don't have to with the Mueller

Here are pics.  I also performed a "hold zero" test.  I fired 8 Winchester and 8 Federal turkey loads, rapid fire, then fired for zero.  Needless to say, she held right on.

I LOVE my site, but I would wait until after the season.  There are quite a few guys with them now and we need a season's worth of hunting, rain, drops, tree branches, etc. to see how this is going to hold up.  So, if you don't need a site, I'd wait until we have a hunting season worth of info to share.

Here it is a optics planet.  Camo is 5 dollars more.  There was a coupon code for another 5 or 10% off and free shipping, floating around, but I don't have it.  Sportsman's Guide had them as well, not sure if they still do though.

I realize it is hard to see the decoys head, and I got the dot off a little, but you can tell what size the dot is in relation to the head and how the head fits in the CQB.

Good Job on this whole post. very Informative and it caused me to put one on my 870 20ga.

I got mine from SG as it was a little cheaper.

They are 0 magnification

I'm also considering trying 1 of these.I had my 1300 bored and taped for a weaver rail last May to use a red dot scope, but I think I would prefer this. How are you mounting this, Marlin or Weaver, and will a weaver make it to high? 1 more question, will a Marlin mount line up with the holes tapped for a Weaver?

sugarray

I have no idea about your mounting questions.  I use a weaver base on my 835, so it will fit a weaver base.  It is not too high with the weaver base.

Thanks, post up a pic with it mounted if you dont mind.
