Sugarray what kind of cheek pad is that? Were you not able to stay down on the stock w/out this?

Beartooth comb raising kit.  No, I needed just a little more height.  My jaw was on the butt and just not comfortable.

That is no magnification.  1x1=1, 1x2=2, etch.

Gotcha thxs for the clarification. I just got mine and the box says...magnification-1x seems like they wld just leave that off if  it has no magnification. But ur right I looked it up! Thxs!

Sugarray did a great job with the Mueller review and helped in my decision making so I thought I would add to the post.  I have mine mounted on an 870SM.  I used a weaver base that is cut down but still uses 3 screws.  I took the gun and shot trap loads at 15 yards.  The site needed 50 clicks to get the elevation right.  Left and right were perfect from the start.  After getting it zeroed, I shot a box of trap loads and 6 3" turkey loads and the Mueller is still holding zero.  I also changed the dot settings and they were all at the same point of impact.  It is a good site and enjoy mine.  I hope this helps.

Here is a PM I received today.  Good for all to know.

Ray,
I have been using a Mueller sight on my ten gauge now going on
the second season. I have had great experience with this sight until the other day,
I was setup on a coyote dead to rights but the dot disappeared, I was able to manipulate the controls and got a dim dot but the coyote was spooked and i didn't get a shot.
When i checked the battery i found the problem, there was three deep dents in the
bottom of the battery from the contact tips in the printed circuit. The battery mounting can't
handle the recoil, i would expect that the printed circuit will eventually fail from this kind of
hammering. Last year i used reloads that pattern well but are only two ounces of shot.
This year i have been working with much heavier loads, 2.5 to 3 ounce shot charges. a new battery solved the problem for now, its the first time i opened the battery compartment since i got the sight. Going to contact Mueller and see what they say.
Its been a great sight i hope they can help me solve this problem. Just a heads up.
                                     Thanks, eight bore

Thanks for posting that Sugarray, I willl keep an eye on mine now, once i start pounding on it with the turkey loads.

Hopefully the printed board can take the abuse and in the case above the battery was just nearing the end of its life. I think no matter what I would be replacing that battery every season, just in case.

Let us know of ou hear anymore about the response from Mueller

Well I can't get a prodiamond scope for 20 gauge so I decided to try this out. A buddy has one and I must say I like how easy it is to get the dot on the target. I think it could be a worthy alternative to the pro-diamond.  I still don't like to have anything with batteries on my gun but I am going to try it for the season and see.

Do you have a link for that comb raising kit, I need 1 myself, the Mueller on a rail is a bit tall, but so far I really like mine.
