I have a software program that will read the gif data on the card and print the time/date if I use it but I did not stamp the pictures this time.
The time and date is now printed at the top and you are correct, it seemed pretty early to me for them to be on the ground too.   .

Appreciate the comments guys, the cameras do the job very well for me and when someone says they like the pictures it makes all of the effort worthwhile.
