Why do you think that's bad?  150 in a 10 inch at over 40 yards....  just shoot it.

My SP10 does fairly well with mag blends with a jellyhead .690, as well as a kicks .690.  With either choke I get just over 200 in the ten at 40.  The barrel has to be super clean to do that with those shells though.

While I have not done a formal count of the mag blend target I shot the other day....it was not bad but definitely did not look as food as the 189 that I got with the Nitros...and I know that gun will do better than that!  Mine is an SP-10 with a Jellyhead .690

I'm shooting an SP 10 with a Pure Gold choke and Mag Blends (it patterns them better than Nitros).
I posted a picture of my pattern in Why I carry a !0 I didn't count the 10" pattern but I know it's enough
Back flipped one at 35 yards this year.
One thing have you deep cleaned your barrel? If not do that before you do anything else then try again with the same set up.

X2 on the deep cleaning of the barrel. My patterns improved substantially after doing so in my bps 10 26"barrel with .690 kicks. I would think that maybe the differences in 10" numbers between 2 seemingly identical setups might simply be due to the different geographical areas we live in .Air temperatures, air density, elevation above sea level would all play a part, not to mention manufacturing tolerances in barrels, chokes and ammo. I can't say for sure that is always the case when we see  members shooting great patterns, while others struggle with the exact same setup, but I would imagine it has to play a significant part in it. 150s in the ten at 40 is plenty good for hunting, but I would agree that it should probably put up better numbers than that.

I don't have any numbers to show but the turkeys I killed with hevi blended loads died just like the ones with the nitros did.. If I cant shoot the mega weight nitros wich I couldn't find this season I will stay with the hevi blend for my hr 10.. Very pleased with them..
