If you want an awesome combo run a West Augusta hollowed out striker on the Hot Hen slate. I almost hate to give out that secret.

Lonnie included a green scour pad and piece of sandpaper with the hot hen. Any tips on conditionin the striker and slate?   I've always just used sandpaper on striker and a stone on the call surface.
Thanks

I use a little sand paper to scratch up the striker and the scotch brite to condition the slate.

I just received my Hot Hen and green glass, they are awesome.

Do the tracks on the side (not the outside rim) mark the sweet spot?

captin_hook

There is no sweet spot. It runs good anywhere.
