Encore Patterns?? Anybody shot any 3.5 in them?

I had the cone lengthening on my encore. It seems that it made the pattern worse than it was. I have tired many didn't combination. Has anybody seen lengthening make it worse? Has anybody shot 3.5 in any encore's?

I have one of the older Encores and it only shoots 3in. Evidently when you lengthen the forcing cone its enough to drop a 3.5 in?? I thought about having the forcing cone worked on mine, but it patterns darn good already I'd hate to mess it up by trying to make it better(still like to try different choke ,shell combos just for the heck of it). Mine kicks bad with the 3in. I'd probably have to pass on the 3.5s.Well I might have to try one just one.

I can't imagine how hard that thing kicks! Sooner you than me. Good luck I hope you get it to pattern like you want.

I had the chamber legthened to 3.5 and it does stomp you.
Just because the round wil fit does not mean it is safe.
the quality of the pattern may suffer due to the chamber not being long enough for the shell to open up completely.
I have gotten 368 pellets from #9 tss but that was 3'' shells.
Try polishing the cone.
