Dialed in but not impressive (updated w/ pics)

Went to the range today with the WIFE.  Had a blast.  I love taking her.  Dialed the 12 ga 870 28" bbl w/ Mad Calls Super Maxx .675 (HW #7 3" 1 5/8 oz) in 3 shots.  Patterns were not impressive.  120's at 40 yds, but will kill a turkey.  Pics will follow.  Also got the 270 and scope is still on.  She shot the .22 alot and was good at 40 yds.  She shot the 20 ga and didnt like the kick.  I think she was not holding it tight enough.

127 in 10"  and 69 on target and 6 CNS,  low and right


120 in 10" and 51 on target and 9 CNS, low



130 in 10"  and 117 on target, on target "relatively"

Oh yes, and picked up a dog to.  Range master gave us his dog.  I work with him and he said if it dont work out he'll take her back.

What kind of choke are you using?
The HW shells are very picky.

I would get a non-ported choke in the .650 - .660 range. Then you should get the patterns you want.

My 870 likes a .660, I tried a .650 and my pattern blew ,but that's my gun.
