Is Wal-mart the only place people are finding the Turkey Thugs?

Some Wal-Marts still don't have many Turkey loads in yet.

The ammo crunch is still in effect.

I think Walmart is the only place that will have the turkey thug ammo as they are one of the main sponsors of the show.

Powder may have looked the same, but it most definitely is not. To get similar velocities with that much more powder in the Thugs vs the blue box, means the powder in the Thugs is a much slower burning powder. That can have a huge amount to do with how a particular shell patterns and also influences recoil. All else being the same, the Thug is going to recoil more than the blue box due to the higher volume of powder.

And they do, indeed, recoil something fierce. I touched off five of the 3.5" 2 6's yesterday afternoon. The paper looked very nice. My shoulder on the other hand......not so much! God bless those that decide to shoot that round out of a pump gun. It was bad enough out of an inertia gun.
Hunt with your children today and you won't have to hunt for them tomorrow.

Same shells, Federal just marketed the "Turkey Thugs" for specific retailers, Wal-Mart in particular.  This is per Federal; based on patterns I believe this to be true.
