 I just got back from the Choctaw WMA in Ackerman, MS...Picked a bad week. No green up at all. Weather cold and windy...Oh well it happens. I'm going to south MS next week and try it down there. Arkansas doesn't come in until April 20...I could grow moss on my behind by then....Good Luck....Blue John...

I hunt muledeer, antelope, elk, bighorn, mtn goat, and moose in Colorado and would be willing to share info for hunting these species on public land in Colo and Wyo in exchange for info in regard to public land hunting in NE or KS.  I would also be interested in info regarding private landowners that are willing to allow turkey hunting access for a trespass or on a harvest fee basis in NE and KS.

Lots of requested info on KY i see. DBNF is a good place to start in KY. Lots of land to hunt. Certain areas are pretty rugged, but hold birds. Not sure about the preasure, I don't hunt it. Let me know if you have a specific region in KY you plan on hunting I may be able to help.
