SX2 NWTF with Indian Creek .665 pattern
« on: May 24, 2012, 05:07:48 PM »
Went out and patterned the new Winchester SX2 24 inch barrel, running an Indian Creek .665 choke. Note there is no barrel polishing/deep cleaning. Best load of the day out of 7 different varieties(no HTL... yet!!) was Winchester Supreme 5s 3 1/2, Average was between 110 and 128 in a ten inch circle at 40 yds.... Not bad for a lead gun, time to leave the 1300 in the safe...

Not bad for lead at all. Definitely a hunting combo. You throw some hevi 6's or 7's through it and it should get even better.

Not just a Lead combo, a #5 Lead combo.  #5's hit hard.

I'd be very happy with that combo. Cant wait to see how it does if you try some H-13 or xtend range through it.
