It was never noted whether the barrel was cleaned between shots.  All of my shotguns have had the barrels polished, and I have been amazed at the deterioration of the patterns with subsequent shots in an uncleaned barrel esp. the number of flyers and the increase in the size of the pattern.

That's a fine hunting pattern, if perhaps a bit over choked. H13 7s would likely flow through that choke a bit better and improve the evenness in the 10-20" ring. The slightly more open PG .670 is known for nice, even patterns without quite as much center density as the IC.
