Let me tell you all something, these things sing pure bird...I got mine last week and I am tempted to take it out this spring, if it wasn't so pretty....for now it is sitting prominently in my collection hall of fame.....pappy

Thanks everyone, this oak burl just keeps on giving. Not only have I turned some nice pots from it, but I've turned over thirty bowls from it as well. I am putting a picture of me with the burl and a couple of the bowls I've turned from it.

This one is a little over 13" in Dia.

This is a nested set that is over 15" in Dia.

This one is 12" tall and hollowed to around 3/16" thick from top to bottom.
