I have a SPR100 single shot shotgun that I wanted to mount a red dot scope to. It has a vent rib with a solid section towards the back of the barrel. I am sure a gunsmith could drill and tap the rib to attach a weaver base. However, where can I find a one-piece weaver style base that has a flat bottom?(so it fits flat onto the rib)  All of the bases I see on the internet are said to be for a specific model of shotgun like a Mossberg 500 or a T/C Encore.

Do they make any weaver style, one-piece bases with a flat bottom?

Thanks in advance,
Grant

You might look at the Marlin 336 base for the Burris Fast Fire.

I seem to recall that it has a flat base.

Good Luck

Thanks Mr19Gauge. That might be just what I am looking for. I was looking more today, and it sounds like they make a weaver base for T/C Encore rimfire barrels that has a flat bottom. Does that sound right to anybody?
