A new respect for box call makers

After making my first two box call, and seeing what it takes, I now have a better appreciation for those that make box calls.  It's not that easy...

Andy,  Good to hear you are making progress, but I knew you would...if you end up making box calls as good as your pot calls, well then the gobblers of Pennsylvania better look out!

Lids are no problem, it's the side rails and tuning..
another one going into the wood stove today.

I have only ever made 3 boxes and 2 sounded good. I know what you mean when you say you have a respect for them, then again I have respect for any good call maker. Good job on the box andy
