Sub species Identfication
« on: December 28, 2011, 08:24:17 PM »
I'm headed to Kansas this spring looking to fill a Rio Grande tag or two.  The area I'm hunting has ,I'm told, Rio's and Rio/Eastern Hybreds, but no Easterns.  Scratching my head, where did the hybreds come from if there arn't any Easterns?  Ok, I'll look past that right now.  My question is this.  How can I tell the difference between a Rio and a  Rio/Eastern hybred.  I did have someone give me an answer but I don't want to polute any info I get here by saying what I was told.

How's that for a first post.

Thanks, Camo  :cross2:
