Interesting, have never seen one like that before. I assume you run the stone over the nail?

Actually I hold the stone in the palm of my left hand and use the striker in my right hand to rub against the stone. Sounds pretty good!

...what's old is new again! Nice to see someone producing 'classic age' (early 20th century) callers... If you want to really get back to basics, Chris's calls are the way to go!

I just ordered some forged nails that I will be putting on these calls to represent the original callers from the early 20 century. Keep watching I have a few more up my sleeve that you don't see to often.
