The counts for the #5 hevi's may seem low , but take into mind that there is only 172 per ounce   and that load is nearing 1 full ounce in a 10" at 40 yards -

A #5 Hevi is roughly double the physical weight of a #7 Hevi - if by chance EM can replicate that efficiency an transfer it to  the #6 or#7 - 10 gauge loads due for production will be scorchers - could you imagine a #6 and #7 loads that shot 230 and 340 consistently shot after shot

The very best #5 hevi load out there IMO is the Nitro 2.25 load that shell shoots at 1240 fps and is a 170-190 load out of a .685 -  a #5 at that speed breaks wings and legs - I've seen it

Gobble,
Those are test loads I got from Environmetal in September. They should be on the shelf in Dec last I heard. Ive shot the same Nitro loads you are referring to and latest was a 6x7. Those are great as well. You should really like the performance from those magblends..I was impressed mainly keeping my thoughts on the sticker price of the 5's. I hope these new ones dont climb up too high in price. If you've shot the gold you know the h210 b's arent cheap. I have a nwtf gold that hasnt been fired yet so I havent checked cycling with the blends but I dont believe we'll have any problems.

Let me know when you shoot a few rounds of the magblend through your gold :)

When will these loads be available to general public?

I guess we'll know shortly. I was told late fall 2011. they'll be round soon I hope. It'll be worth the wait.

Jim,
Have you heard anything lately about the release of 10 gauge EM, 6's and 7's.  My source said before spring then things went kinda quiet.

I would imagine a SHOT show introduction would be in order that's a bit over  a week away but who knows! :anim_25:
