Honey Locust for Pot Calls

Has anyone worked with honey locust to make a pot call? I have more than my fair share in the pasture behind the house.

if it is dry,, don;t see why it would not work for a pot call.

I'm not a maker but have ran a couple. Can't remember the soundboards but they were glass and crystal and sounded great. The builders say it turns really well and easy to finish.

I got a glass/slate double-sider in honey locust from him a few years back and it sounds awesome.
