If you had to have one striker to pack to the woods to kill a bird day in and day out, what material would it be and from who?

Hard to say from who, but a laminated wood striker like Frogwood or Rutland Dymondwood.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Hickory and I got a two piece striker with wax or some sort of coating like resin that makes the striker waterproof that was made by a guy I bought a custom call from 2 years ago
