They did well for me at 35 yd test pattern. 870 youth compact 20 gauge. Colonial .570 choke. Herters #9. Point of impact a little low.

I bought some of the 12ga to throw in an old browning over/under for hunting with this spring.  Will pattern this weekend and post some pictures.

.655 choke maybe overchoked in those 870's.  Mine prefers a choke in the .665 range.
Strongly agree. Have three 870's set up for turkey. All showed a strong preference for .660" or 665" chokes with a verity of turkey shell types and #4, #5 and #6 shot.

Here's a 40 yard pattern I shot this morning. Model 12, 26" barrel with a.675 extended choke. Herter's 12 gauge 2-3/4" #9's. Cardboard is 22" wide x 28" long. Everything about the shell screams Winchester.
