I finally have my strikers whiddled down to 12 woods/materials. Took $everal year$ of trial and error.
Ipe - Halloran
Yellowheart - Lyman
Hickory- Lyman
Jatoba- Lyman 
Mac ebony - Lyman
Dymondwood-blackstone 2pc or the Dawkins 2pc
Blood wood- cox 
King wood - cox
Persimmon- cox 
Blk locust - Lyman
Yingling fiber rod
Purpleheart - Jason Powell

Favorite is probably ipe dymondwood and hickory

I have two of David's Ipe single piece strikers, best one I have tried and I have several. I have never had a striker from Cox, I will have to check them out.

JLH frogwood is the best all around striker I have on all surfaces. Snakewood is a close 2nd.
