What are your favorite 20 gauge tss loads. Also has anyone used Viper ammo? I'm mostly looking at 3" #9 shot

FoxTrot Hot Rods when I can get them and 3” Apex #9s when I can’t.

Sadly here in New York, finding tss is a challenge.  I did find some of the new Remington loads but haven’t shot them yet.  As soon as I do I will post results.

Toss up between the Apex offerings and Wilson's Custom Loads (unfortunately they are no longer making shells).

Reach out to the owner, see what his availability is.

I have tried the last few days to get on foxtrots website, no luck. They must be having problems with it.

Works for me. Just tried it and loads no issue.

Just call foxtrot and talk to Brice.  Get your order on the load schedule and you'll get shells in a week or two.  I personally like the crushers but the hot rods are good.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Haven't tried his Crushers, but Brice's HSHDT loads in straight #8s also patterned nicely with the IC .555.

You guys need to load your own. Most expensive part is the shot  it is now up to 40.00 a pound. It is not that difficult.

Agreed. I started a few years ago and am very happy with my results

Out of curiosity, how many shells does it take to offset the expense of all of the start up equipment and start making it cheaper than buying shells?

I briefly looked into last year, and would still like to get into it just because I like to tinker, but wasn't in the cards at the time.
