Box Call Springs Squeaking

For those who have dealt with squeaky box call springs what have you used in trying to stop this annoying squeak? What i have found that works the best for myself is Carmex Classic Lip Balm.. You can buy these little tubes for little over dollars at most retail stores.  Yes and it's good to have with you for chap lips... LOL..  Share your tips / tricks of what you do or use...

A little at the base of the screw where it comes in contact with the spring /screw hole.

Graphite is cheap. Does a great job doing away with screw squeak.
Don’t get it on the rails of course.
