Call for purring
« on: February 23, 2023, 06:30:20 PM »
Folks that make your own mouth calls. What call have you found to be the best call to build for soft purring? Im trying to learn to purr using the gargling/uvula method. Been experimenting with some different stretches and reed combos but haven't ran across the right one yet. Thanks.

Personally, I do better with an uncut call for purring.  A double or triple-reed call of medium (.003 +/-) latex and medium stretch seems to work best for me.   :icon_thumright:

A Batwing or Combo Cut  is what I mostly use, Combo is .003 over 2 .0025 and the Bat is .003 over 2 proph with a medium stretch.
