Is it loud? My Harrison isnt as loud imo as what Shane Simpson’s call seems to be in his YouTube videos. Idk if something is wrong with mine or if Shane’s mic makes his seem louder, but I want an owl hooter that I can get really loud with to carry across these limestone mountains here in northeast Alabama. Maybe someone here can chime in with how loud their Harrison call is. If lyle’s houndstooth hooter is louder, I have no issue in picking one up.

It’s pretty loud but it’s still a hooter so it’s not crazy

I have the green laminated one and it sounds great, just not as loud as I would like.

I have the same call and really like it.  You can get pretty loud if needed.

I know this is an older post but I’ll add my two cents. I have the cherry wood Houndstooth and a walnut Harrison Hootin stick. The houndstooth is a little louder but the Harrison sounds better in my opinion.
