Great deal on a good binocular. I will help out here by pointing out that Vortex has a lifetime warranty on their products regardless of whether or not you are not the original purchaser. ...Anything happens to them, you can send them in and get them serviced/refurbished.
In addition, 12X bino's have their place if you hunt anywhere that long-distance glassing comes into play. They will make a turkey-sized animal much easier to see at ranges that lesser-powered bino's just won't cut it.
I would snatch these up, but I need another pair of binoculars like I need the proverbial "another hole in the head". ...But if I knew someone that needed bino's, this would make a great X-mas present!
