Your treasured memory hunting with family
« on: October 30, 2022, 07:20:32 AM »
Was going through some photos the other day and found this picture of my brother and I from our Osceola hunt a few years ago. We try and get together on a hunt every year. We have hunted turkeys in NJ, PA, NY, Texas, and Fla. We have great memories from these hunts, this picture was one of the best. We plan on continuing this bond as long as we can….Would love to see your family pics from memorable hunts……..

I was there and calling birds in for each of my three grandsons' first turkey.
Not turkey, but my #2 grandson (who kept growing into a pretty big man after this photo)

And the youngest grandson with his bird last spring.

I don't have a photo of the oldest grandson with his first bird, but it was a double bearded bird with 1.5" spurs.  Biggest bird I've ever seen killed.  That was a few years back.

Here's a few of the boys. My dad was non existent so i try to do better with my own. The oldest and I used to hunt together a lot. Now we still hunt together but tend to go our separate ways in the woods. I have pretty much cut him loose to figure the rest out on his own. The youngest is more into fishing but he is danged good at it. Man they are growing up fast.

Here are a couple ones of my brother and me. One from back in the early 90s and then again around late 2000s. Some time after 2008 probably.

One I killed on my parents' place my 89 year old dad is taking the pic, first cell phone pic he ever took. Dad never hunted but gave me a great place to hunt.

An early Osceola fall hen.

My first 10 point

Here's one of my dad helping pick up the decoys. Not sure how many he's got left in him.

These are all great pics. I have got to the point where I don’t like sharing family pics on public forums, but all my favorite memories are the first my children have experienced. First deer, first turkey, first fish, etc.
