And so the fall season starts for me 2 gobblers took a ride in the truck this evening. Good luck to all the fall hunters on here.

I will be down in the bluegrass state Monday and Tuesday. Fall season here has not been great, can't seem to find the gobblers. Good news is I have seen several poults.

This year is the first I’ve tried fall hunting. It’s been fun and I’ve had decent results without a kill yet.

This past week the gobblers must have thought it was spring time. They gobbled on the roost and came in ready to run off the new guy on the block not just once but 3 different times. Strutting every time they came in. They gobbled at every call on the way in and even gobbled at the gun shots. A few of them from that group are going to make some fine meals. Got to like 11+" beards and 1.25"+ spurs in the back of the truck. I'm going to have to go to a few more states this fall/winter if I'm going to shoot any more. Hopefully some of you fall hunters are having a good season too.

Nice season Hook Hanger

There have been times I've heard more gobbling in a single day in the fall than in an entire week in some of these silent gobbling spring seasons we've had lately.

Congratulations and best of luck guys, my arch dropped in my left foot so I am on crutches and can't make it out this year.

Filled my gobbler tag on a 2 year old. Didn’t even think to take a picture. Fun hunt though. After deer season I’m going to get after the coons and bobcats as much as I can.

I posted this in another thread but here is a fall gobbler I killed last week. Last week, we killed 4 in 5 days. I filled my Ohio tag and one in Ky. I called gobblers for two buddies as well.
