Rem 870 20 ga with Trulock .585

Anyone have any luck with this setup? 21'' barrel. It seems most guys use a .555 or .565. I shoot a blend of 7 & 9 TSS. Thanks

my 21" 870 20ga likes the Trulok .562 with the HW #7's the best and, it shoots the LB #6's with that choke mighty good as well.

Thanks for the reply. I'm gonna try a .560 and the .585. I will let you know what I find after next weekend

I shoot Carlson's.575 in mine. It's brutal. Trulock.585 should do well.

Forgot to take pics but the .585 was the ticket. .560 had a pretty hot core and I wanted a little wiggle room.

I shot the 585 Pinhoti with my 21" 870 and it did 302 in a 10" circle at 40 yards with 1 5/8 oz of #9's

I just shot my 870 with 21" barrel with a truglo ssx(550) with Remington tss 9's and got 253 in a ten.  With the federal tss 9 I got 187. Was pleasantly surprised by the Remingtons but I would hunt with either. Patterns were nice and even.

I have several remington 20 gauge chokes in classifieds. All will do good with tss.
