My glass is townsend and the red slate is busters.

I do not have a Lonzo or Lyman call.

What ceramic do yall recommend?
Daybreak Padauk ceramic... For whatever reason I've fired a lot of gobblers that wasn't gobbling up with that call. I've got ceramic calls from several other makers they sound really good but that daybreak just seems to work when nothing else does. David Halloran makes a good one too.

Gog1015

Daybreak or Buster ceramic, they just work.

My ceramic calls get more response than any other call in I carry. Something about a ceramic. I have 4-5 different ceramics and rotate them pretty much whenever. The two that I carry the most are a Big J calls ceramic in a mike Beatty designed pot, and a stumpy. I just got another ceramic the other day from old pro calls, it will be a runner too. If I could only tote one call it would be a ceramic pot.

I would recommend ceramic. Lots of great callmakers already mentioned.

Seminole Custom Calls, Red Slate and grab you a Titanium while you are at it. They are flat all time TURKEY TALKING MACHINES.

Have a good one

Ceramic would be my choice it has become one of my favorite surfaces especially with a bloodwood or tulipwood striker

My vote is ceramic. I added one before this season and it ended up being the ticket! Birds came in on every hunt with it.

Meleagris gallopavo

Grey slate and ceramic.  I find myself eventually using these more towards the end of the season due to consistency.  You should get both.

I live and hunt by empirical evidence.

Hoot 000

Lonnie Mabry gray slate in a cedar or walnut pot also I like Lonnie Sneed hot hen more raspy than the Mabry according to striker.
