My cousin put one on 2 years ago and he likes it. Says his seems tight and is holding up so far.

I've got one 12 / 870 with Nikon Turkey pro scope and another one mounted on 20/870 and i have Simmons pro diamond on this mount... these mounts also give you the option of using your bead also.... never had the first problem with either gun and mounts ....

If your shotgun has a vent rib, I would look hard at one of these.

You have to be careful about the saddle mount style, if you tighten them just a little bit to much, your gun will bind up and it will not cycle.  And it's right on the border of too much and not enough.  I really prefer drilling and tapping versus saddle mount/Meadow Creek mount.  Tried the Meadow Creek just not for me. I would rather have just a regular scope base to mount red dot or scope.

Have a good one

If I had a choice, I would have the receiver drilled out by Sumtoy, you can take the barrel off and send the receiver to him, and he can take care of it and put a base on it that is really nice and low. If that is not what route you want to go, then the meadow creek would be my second choice.
