Anyone use the weatherby turkey element?  With the 22 inch barrel?  You don't see or hear much about it.. decent?

Mine's not exactly the Turkey model but I have a 20 ga with a 26" bbl and love it to pieces. I shoot XR #6's and have no complaints.
Very good gun for the money.

FL-Boss

It's a nice gun, but not drilled and tapped from factory like many other turkey guns...

Is the LOP really 14-5/8"?

I was not aware that the element was offered in a 22" barrel, but that would be a big perk if so. One of my buddies has a 26" element and he loves it. His SBE sits in the safe most days as he prefers the Element over his Benelli. Even if some on here balk at that last comment, the Element is clearly a whole lot of gun for what they sell for. I have shot them and they seem like a very solid and well built gun. And their customer service is really good as well.

Anyone know where these are made and what they weigh?

PALongspur

Made in Turkey like most other mid-priced autoloaders. I believe they weigh around 6 pounds. Very, very nice guns that handle like a dream.

Are they gas or recoil operated?

I brought home the turkey model pictured above Monday. The gun feels great and was a straight shooter POI is just a little high.  I still have a ways to go but I really like the look and feel of this 20 gauge. Looks my son is taking this one over! Lol

What does the length of pull measure out to be?

it's says 14.65, I just measured 14.5 . Gun shoots and feels great, we shot it some more today. My son is dead on with the gun. He at 14 has officially taken this one over! Cycled all low brass perfectly.

Glades

Looks like a nice gun.
Too bad it does not come with a short-LOP youth stock. These days I couldn't imagine hunting turkeys with a 14.5" LOP gun.

Just bought one on gunbroker for 455$ (530 after tax) can't beat the price. I have a buddy who loves his 26" barrel one and I bought my wife a 26" barreled one earlier this year as well. Joker cycles everytime out of the box every ounce load unlike my franchi Turkey gun...
