Going to try my hand at making a wingbone call from the turkey i took this year. I have been reading up on how to do it and was wondering what kind of glue or epoxy you experienced call builders would recommend.Thanks for any advice!

I see this is an old post, but being new making wingbones myself maybe it will help this fellow.
I buy the tube of Steelstik by JB Weld @Lowes. I wrap most of mine and it is way easier than using epoxy. And you have time to smooth it out before hardening. A little sanding and wrap it.

That sounds like a good idea with the puddy, you can make a smoother transition between the bones which would make wrapping easier.

I thought of trying hot glue but not sure if it is strong enough, will have to test it on a piece of cut off bone.
