Have that very box sitting here in my office and that dark persimmon against that Osage really makes for a good looking combo. I probably should have also bought that yellow heart over black limba he recently put up on here. I have more calls that I can use these days, and usually give away most calls I buy now just to help other newer hunters to get started - but will likely hold on to this Osage/persimmon box and hunt it.
I would recommend anyone trying a box call or two from Mike from Spring Creek. I also would suggest that they try a call or two from Al from SS Customs. Neither is over charging for their quality work, and their calls sound like real turkeys. My suggestion is to get some calls from both men. If you have questions, just call them as they are really knowledgeable and easy to talk with about what you want/need in a turkey call. I just personally want to say thank you to both Mike and Al/Josh for what they do.
