Man- some great ideas! I've always used a camo handkerchief. First wrap with lid "open", tuck in the ends and wrap with lid closed now. I also have the GGSatchel????????. Went vestless this past season and loved it. If it won't fit you don't need it????.

I made my own paracord slides just like a hen box uses and that works great ... Steve Bryan also makes them for boxes. He also makes the trumpet lanyards. He's on Facebook

Hair ties, like Chester showed in the pics. Keeps them silent in the vest pocket.

Another hair tie user and they last longer than rubber bands if you don't lose them.

I used to use the rubber wrist bands the kids wear.  Primos has a rubber 3 pack for about $5 that works great

Hair ties that match the purse? Sorry guys couldn't resist

I slide a $2 bill in between the paddle and the rails.  Doesn't pull the chalk off and nothing comes off on the call.

I always save the thick rubber bands that come on broccoli or produce.
Those things last a long time & don't seem to mind the heat or weather.
I keep two on my boxes & an extra stash in a utility draw. They fit perfect
& can be twisted twice around the box at either end. Wrap 'em just once
& it makes a good gobble.

Wrapped twice & you can't make the box make noises. Gives me an excuse
to buy more produce too!
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Cool idea.  I think I'll try using a one hundred dollar bill and a hair tie.  Might keep me from losing the bill but turkey hunting is expensive anyway so why not?
